People are pissed. You have every right to be. I’m sorry. If you want to scream at me, go right ahead. I’m leaving the comments open even though I know readers will be throwing daggers at me from all sides.

Why have I been so rude about refunds? It’s stupid, but I was hurt that people didn’t believe I would finish the book. Yes it has been over a year which is RIDICULOUS but I never thought it would take so long, otherwise I would have kept the whole damn thing a secret until I had the boxes of books sitting here at my feet. That’s why I didn’t announce my new business venture until after it had launched. I learned one hell of a lesson, and I’m sorry it was one that bit everyone in the ass. For those of you who have not received your refund, please email me at vixbook@gmail.com and I will refund your money within two weeks.

Why have I been ignoring the blog? Because I’m exhausted.

BUT. The blog is not over. The book is not done for. I’m trying to figure out how to do it all. Obviously I have not figured it out yet, but I’m trying.

I will resume work on the book one week from tomorrow, on March 1st. That will give me enough time to get Vixen’s Empire fattened up for Steak & BJ Day so I can spend the majority of my time over the next couple weeks finishing the book. I’m revamping it to include more new/unpublished content, so if there are any holes in the story of my blog/life you’ve always wondered about, let me know and it could lead to new stuff in the book.

Although you have absolutely no reason to do so, I ask that you believe in me. I have buried myself under a ginormous pile of dog shit with the blog, the book, and now Vixen’s Empire. I’m trying. Those garbled words you hear coming from deep inside that pile of shit is me saying “I’m digging my way out of here.”
