Not slowly dying underneath my fallen Christmas tree

… just having a hard time with the current post, and I don’t want to switch to something else in case I lose my nerve. I’ve been working on this for two or maybe three weeks now. Damn. It’s one of those ones that twists me inside out. The title of the post in progress is “Just Me.” Thought that might give you an idea of what I’m all tangled up in.

Aw. Come on Vix, you need to cheer up. I know things have been rough the last while for you, but try and keep positive.

The vibe I’ve been getting lately from you is that you don’t feel wanted or needed by anyone. And being alone in a big house around the holidays makes it all the more daunting. But honestly, the vast majority of people who read your blog would gladly give their left (or right) arm for a chance to be with you. So even though you haven’t found the right someone. There are plenty of us out there who would love to give it a shot.
