The funeral was brutal. But you know the really awesome thing that often gets overlooked at funerals? When you see a church almost entirely full of people of all ages who have come from all over the country and so many of them are crying, you cannot doubt that the person you’re mourning together was well loved. It hurt so much to watch her parents and brothers and friends from school ripped to pieces over her sudden death, but it was amazing to see how much they cared for her. She left this world surrounded by love, and that’s pretty damn awesome.
