I’m Officially Making Up Words
I like the word sex-iquette. The etiquette of sex, pretty straight-forward, right? At least I thought so. But when I used the word in last night’s post and referred to my favorite wordsmith website UrbanDictionary.com* to see if it is hyphenated, there was no such definition.
–scoff!–
What nonsense. I know I’ve heard that word before. And not just on Sex and the City (but isn’t that really the modern girl’s bible for all things sex?). That’s a word out there somewhere, right? And yet for the year that I’ve been regularly visiting UrbanDictionary, this is the very first time I looked up a word and there was no entry for it.
Well. Let’s fix that shit. That’s right, I submitted “sexiquette” and now it’s officially part of their dictionary. They took out my hyphen, but that’s my definition and my example. And my blog name/website address because I am not above shameless self-promotion.
Not that I wasn’t doing this out of the goodness of my heart. Pussy. Whatever.
*A fine place to waste precious work day hours. Assuming you’ve already been through the entirety of my extensive archives, right buddy?
