The Closet Past
Yesterday I finished unpacking clothes and organizing my closet. Yes, I moved in nearly two months ago and I�m still unpacking. Shaddyup.
As I pulled tshirts out of boxes and organized items on hangers, I kept seeing skirts and pants I had completely forgotten about while they were in the back of my previous closet. So many of these brought back memories from different eras of my life. With each little squeal of the hangers as I flipped between clothes it was flipping to another memory: a timeline, right there on the clothing rod, where it had been all along, neglected in m previous closet. Sad, for so many beautiful clothes.
It was fascinating to flip through all these different styles of clothes and recall all the different sides of my personality across the years—the rebel, the stylish girl, the edgy girl, the . Even though I haven�t worn any of these particular dresses or skirts in so long, those alter egos they represent are all very much still there, and I hope always will be.
