Precious Moment
Hot CoWorker lives in my general neighborhood, which means we take the same route to work. Before Monday, I had never seen him on the road even though we usually arrive at the office at about the same time every day.
On this Monday morning after the disastrous pool party (ok, I exaggerate—the party itself was fun, I was just pissy because Hot CoWorker left the party with another girl, who was the one who invited HIM to MY party, and I don’t even know this girl–she’s got gnads of steel, I tell you; meanwhile I was dodging The Man whom I’d had fantastic sex with the night before and then promptly moved along about my business, which I refuse to feel bad about because this guy is the definition of PLAYA, which was why I have been confused about his constant calling for the following four days when his own friends have warned me to watch out for him because he’s such a player. But I digress. A lot. Sorry, you can attribute the strand of “By the way”s to the A.D.D.)
I exit the highway and at the light I recognize Hot CoWorker’s car ahead of me. Time for a little fun.
