The Over-Educated Nympho

Tonight my apartment complex was hosting a pizza night/mixer thing, so I went over to eat and mix. There was only one table of non-thirtysomethings-with-children, and eureeka, they were hot twentysomething guys.

I asked if I could sit down, they said yes, I sat down.

I introduce myself and ask their names. They all mumble barely-audible responses. Hmm. Ok. Shy, are we? I try chatting them up, and they are completely non-responsive.

I’m a little confused.

I’m having another pool party on Sunday. I’ve been inviting nearly every (semi-attractive) neighbor I’ve seen or met since last Sunday. And I’ve told all of those people to bring people. This party is going to be BIG–way bigger than last week’s, and with even fewer people whom I actually know.

Apparently, I was VERY sloshed at the last party. I have no memory of entire people whom I apparently had long conversations with. I just found out today from Sweet Cheeks that I passed out on a lawn chair by the pool for over an hour. Yesterday I ran into someone whom I recognized but didn’t know where from. We chatted for a good five minutes before I told him “it’s too bad you weren’t at my party last week, it was a blast! You should come this Sunday.” And he stared at me and informed me he WAS at the party last week, for two hours, and I talked to him several times over a platter of chicken skewers.

Huh. Must have been a great party. Wish I rememebered more of it.
